Here you can see that I have cut out the side panels based on the offset lines I drew. This is one of the wonders of stitch and glue boat building. The designer has it all figured out so that these weird looking panels will look correct when they are put into position. You cut out the panels, and carefully align them, drill holes, and then wire the different panels in place.
The stitch and glue method works the reverse of other boat building methods because you put in the frames afterwards. So a boat can shape up pretty quickly.
You can also see in the picture the small panel section that I scarfed together to get the panels to be the length needed.
