Bulkhead Fitted & Epoxied

Here I am installing the balsa core bulkhead. I had to use a bunch of clamp pads, and wax paper to keep the blocks from getting glued to the boat.

The block in the middle is actually a chunk of lead ballast. And although the boat looks dirty, I carefully washed and lightly sanded the pre-coated epoxy areas to get a good bond. I used a slightly thickened batch of epoxy putty to seat the bulkhead into, making sure I had enough that some come out the edges on both sides.
